About Us

Givens Control Engineering Inc. began as a proprietorship in 1992 and were incorporated as Innovention Industries Inc. in 1994. We changed our name to Givens Control Engineering Inc. in 2006 and changed our logo in 2014. Our primary business activity has always been the provision of Process Control Engineering Services, primarily to the Pulp & Paper industry. Another important activity is provision of the Analyse-Plus data analysis software and its software add-ons. This product is 100 % made (programmed) by us including its algorithms. We used to manufacture our own data acquisition product, the Data Logger CVF2, also our own design.

Today, we concentrate on services and software. We maintain our well-established 32-year tradition of a 100 % success rate in resolving our customers control issues.

The principal of Givens Control Engineering Inc. is R. Glenn Givens, B.A.Sc. (Chemical Engineering), University of Waterloo, Ontario 1985. With about 40 years experience, few problems are new.
