Technical Support

Our products include one year of unlimited technical support.

Before emailing technical support, make sure you have the following information available:

1. The software serial number. The software serial # is displayed in the Help/About box.
2. The operating system including version #, under which your are running the software (e.g. Windows 7, 10, 11 etc.)
3. Computer Model, processor type and speed.
4. The date you last installed the software.
5. A complete description of the problem, including what is displayed on the screen when the problem occurs and what is necessary to recreate the problem.

You may also be asked to email the contents of the configuration file. In Analyse-Plus, the file is called DLPAxxx.CFG where xxx is the software version number. For version 5.00, this would be DLPA500.cfg. For versions 5 and higher, the location is C:\ProgramData\Givens Control Eng'g\Analyse-Plus. Note that "ProgramData" is normally a hidden folder and must be unhidden using the settings in File Explorer. They are ASCII (text) files and can be emailed (emailing as an attachment is preferred)

For older versions, the name and location depends on the version as follows:
For example, for version 4.02, this is DLPA402.CFG and is in the installation directory (normally C:\APLUS402). For example, for version 4.01, this is DLPA401.CFG and is in the installation directory (normally C:\APLUS401).

Warranty

Our products include a two year limited warranty.

Givens Control Engineering Inc. warrants that all products, exclusive of the Data Logger CVF2 internal battery (if applicable), will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment. Givens Control Engineering Inc. warrants that the internal battery of the Data Logger CVF2 will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one 1) year from the date of shipment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Givens Control Engineering Inc. disclaims all other warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

No warranty is expressed or implied for products damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or unauthorized modification.

The entire liability of Givens Control Engineering Inc. shall be, at its option, to repair or replace the product or portions of the product that do not meet the limited warranty described above. Shipment from the customer to Givens Control Engineering, including the cost of shipping, taxes, duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
